Maersk Hong Kong Ltd

Activity

Maersk Line is in the  business of creating value for our customers. We achieve this by offering the best transportation options that uphold the highest standards of reliability, environmental performance and ease of business – and that is our commitment to our customers in South China.

Our presence in South China dates back to 1975 when Maersk Hong Kong Limited was established, acting as general agent for Maersk Line liner shipping services in the region. Since then, we have supported South China’s growth by connecting it to all major trade routes worldwide.  In 1984, we opened our first Mainland China office in Guangzhou and today there are more than 11 offices and 540 Maersk Line employees. We operate in four major ports and dozens of barge ports in South China, ensuring that customers will always find a convenient option to connect to our network.

Over the years, Maersk Line has maintained a strong leadership position among container carriers operating in West Africa and is well positioned to facilitate this region’s significant growth.
