Thomas Halfdan Andersen started his career in Hong Kong in 1992.  He first joined a Danish trading company within electronic components industry, servicing amongst others Danfoss in their early days in China.
Being an entrepreneur at heart he established and owns several companies amongst others a trading & consulting company (Tacam HK Ltd.) and further a travel service company (Hildebrand Int’l Travel Service Ltd.)
In 2004 he was appointed Vice Consul at the Royal Danish Consulate in Hong Kong with responsibilities within the Trade Counsel (eksportrådet) and further Deputy to the Consul General, a position he held until the closure of the Danish Consulate in Hong Kong in 2012.

Thomas has since joined the Danish company Power Stow as Vice President of Sales & Marketing in Asia. Power Stow is a dedicated to the design, manufacturing and international marketing of the Power Stow Rollertrack Conveyor – a brand-new concept in mobile belt loading systems in aviation. Power Stow helps airport ground handlers to become faster and more efficient at loading & unloading bulk baggage and cargo, while improving working conditions for their people.

Anita is senior director at Fossil Group Asia Pacific where she is responsible for the ‘SKAGEN’ brand  in Asia Pacific. Anita has been promoting Danish design since 2013 where she started the brand journey with Skagen watches and jewellery. In 2007 she moved to Hong Kong to focus on the brand’s activities in Asia Pacific. She joined the Danish Chamber of Commerce in 2014.

Poul came to Hong Kong in March 2001, to develop A-TEX’s business areas in Asia and over the years leads it to it’s growth from 3 employees to 125 in Hong Kong as well as 80 employees in Dongguan, China in 2017 when he left the company to pursue own ventures. Poul has broad knowledge about the garment accessories, bags and packaging industry and he has hands-on experiences working with factories in China.

Dan Houmann has lived in Hong Kong since 2014 and is responsible for all sales and marketing activities of Danish Watch brand Obaku Denmark in APAC, The Middle East & Africa. Since the launch in 2007, OBAKU has become one of the fastest growing watch companies in the world and is still a family owned and operated business with more than 150 employees and points of sale in more than 65 countries worldwide.

Dan holds a Bachelor degree in International Economics & Business from Aalborg University, an AP degree in Financial Management and a P.dip in Fashion & Luxury Brand Management from Hong Kong University.

Dan joined the board in 2015 and is also the Coordinator of our Young Professionals members.

Frank Jensen is Chief Commercial Officer at Modern Terminals Ltd and has worked in Asia since 1990.  He has worked in the Logistics/Container Shipping industry for 28 years. He joined Modern Terminals in 2000 as General Manager Sales & Marketing after 10 years in Asia with Danish trading company The East Asiatic Company (EAC) where he worked in various leadership roles in Logistics and Transportation in Hong Kong, China and India.

Frank has an Executive MBA from Ivey Business School, Canada.

Frank has been involved with the Danish Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong since 2006 and served as Chairman for 5 years from 2011 to 2016.

Lisa Lindenskov

Lisa Lindenskov qualified as an interior designer from the Danish Design School in Copenhagen. Her professional experience spans the field of interior design, graphic design, authoring, training and mentoring. She has also been heavily involved in leading tasks related to the promotion of design – both within Denmark and in a number of other countries.  After working as a designer in Copenhagen, she moved to Montreal and worked for a large multi-disciplinary design company. In parallel, she co-owned Skandove, a company specialized in the design, manufacture, import and sale of design products to niche design and art museum boutiques. After 8 years in Canada, Lisa migrated to South Africa to become CEO of Design South Africa, with a 3 year mandate to establish a promotional design organisation for the enhancement of design in Southern Africa. During this time, Lisa was board member of the Danish Chamber of Commerce in Johannesburg. She has also held a position as Design Director in Dubai and has worked in Copenhagen being involved with the Danish furniture industry. Lisa has served on several executive boards, steering committees, adjudication panels and has published several articles and papers on design. She owns The Design Mission, a consultancy firm in Hong Kong.

Kenneth was born 1975 in Aarhus, Denmark and started out his career as a Marketing Trainee with Tuborg (Carlsberg) breweries. Over the past 20 years his work has spanned beer, music, shoes and jewelry working for companies such as Carlsberg, EMI-Capitol Music, ECCO Shoes and Pandora Jewelry.
Specialized within Sales, Retail and Marketing, Kenneth has been fortunate to work in more than 25 different markets spanning from Scandinavia to Eastern Europe and the Middle East and recently across all major markets in Asia.
Kenneth Madsen took up the position as President of PANDORA Asia in March 2013. Based in the company’s regional office in Hong Kong, Kenneth Madsen and his team of around 100 staff manage 12 different markets across the Asian region. Kenneth firmly believes that the Scandinavian heritage, the design, the high quality and precious nature of Pandora jewelry speaks to the Asian women and he pursues an ambitious plan for Pandora to become the most loved jewelry brand in Asia.

Michael joined Maersk in 2007 and moved to Qingdao, China in 2012 before moving to Hong Kong in 2014. Michael holds a Master degree in Finance & Accounting from Copenhagen Business School. Michael joined the Danish Chamber of Commerce in 2017.

Hanne Nielsen is the director and co-founder of the company BCC Pacific that was established in Hong Kong in 1989. BCC Pacific is the owner and producer of the brand name “The Earth Collection ®” – an environmentally friendly line of garments and accessories. The Earth Collection makes mass production a family affair and was started in 1993 out of a desire to produce environmentally friendly T-shirts, it has grown to become an international known brand and we can now celebrate 25 years anniversary. Not only is TEC a family run business, the goal has always been to have a personal relation to everyone we work with, whether that be the factory owners, our partners in China, our clients and distributors, shop owners and of course our employees, based on thee philosophy that we are only as good as the people we work with.
